June 10, 2019 Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by Ameris Bancorp For release at 4:30 p.m. EDT Share The Federal Reserve Board on Monday announced its approval of the application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 by Ameris Bancorp, Moultrie, Georgia, to merge with Fidelity Southern Corporation ("FSC") and thereby indirectly acquire FSC's subsidiary state nonmember bank, Fidelity Bank, both of Atlanta, Georgia.
