January 26, 2006 Approval of proposal by Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated For immediate release Share The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the application filed by Huntington Bancshares, Incorporated, Columbus, Ohio, to acquire Unizan Financial Corp. and its subsidiary bank, Unizan Bank, National Association, both of Canton, Ohio.
